What is this beast?
No mames! You can have all the horsepower in the world, but if you are rolling on heavy, ugly stock wheels, you are doing it wrong. BBS CI-R wheels are legendary. They are flow-formed in Germany, meaning they are incredibly light but as strong as a fully forged wheel. The iconic Y-spoke design looks absolutely vicious on the newer, larger Gen3 chassis like the G60 and G05. Throw some sticky Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires on these, and your car will look, handle, and launch like a completely different beast.
Why the stock part is absolute pain
The pain of factory wheels is that they are cast, incredibly heavy, and narrow. Heavy wheels increase 'unsprung mass', which makes your suspension work harder and slows down your acceleration. The BBS CI-R sheds serious weight from each corner of the car. Lighter wheels mean faster steering response, quicker turbo spool (less rotational mass to turn), and shorter braking distances. Plus, the wider fitment allows you to run fatter tires, so you can actually put all that B58 torque to the pavement without spinning. Grip and rip!
