CSF Front Mount Heat Exchanger
What is this beast?
You know that feeling when you do one crazy highway pull, and by the second pull your car feels like a sluggish minivan? That's heat soak, loco! The B58 uses water to cool the air, and the stock front radiator is tiny. The CSF Heat Exchanger is a massive, dual-pass, 68mm thick aluminum beast that holds way more fluid and dissipates heat like magic. You slap this in the front bumper, and your Intake Air Temps (IATs) stay icy cold. You can do 10 back-to-back pulls, and the car will hit just as hard on the 10th run as it did on the first. Keep it frosty!
Why the stock part is absolute pain
When the water in your intercooler system gets hot, the air entering the engine gets hot. The ECU panics, pulls ignition timing, and robs you of 40-50 horsepower to protect the engine. The CSF radiator’s B-Tube technology maximizes the cooling surface area, forcing the water temps down instantly. If you are doing track days, drag racing, or just terrorizing the local backroads, this cooling upgrade is absolutely mandatory to keep your horsepower from evaporating.
The Cold Hard Numbers
Consistent power, zero heat soak
